Registration:
Registration is open 2/8/10 through 3/5/10. Registration forms will be available in the St. Michael School office and online: Registration Form. Print your form and bring it to the school office with your check.

Fee:
The fee is $125 per player and $110 each for multiple registrants (siblings). Payment is by check only made payable to St. Michael Parish Baseball. Please drop off your check in the school office between the hours of 7:45am and 3:00pm. For after-hours drop-off, place your check in an envelope (marked “Baseball Fee”) and place it through the mail slot on the school office door. Donations are appreciated and will help fund the league. They may be included in the fee.

* The league offers these divisions and St. Michael welcomes registrations; however, whether St. Michael actually has a team in these divisions depends on the number of kids that sign-up. If you register for one of these divisions and St. Michael does not sponsor a team, we will work with you to place your child with another team in the league.
Coaching:
All coaches must be Virtus trained. Virtus is an Archdiocese required program. Please visit the Virtus site ( www.virtus.org ) to view a schedule of available classes. Click "Registration", then "View a list of sessions" and select the Galveston-Houston option. Additionally, coaches will need to attend the league coaches' meeting on 3/23/10.
Season:
The first game is on 3/27/10 and the last game is on 5/15/10. Schedules will not be available until after the coaches’ meeting on 3/23/10.
No games Easter Weekend 4/3/10.
Practices:
The field will not be available until the week of 3/1/10. Older teams will have first choice of practice times.
Team Selection:
Teams are selected by grade. In cases where there are more than enough kids to form two teams a draft will be used to make the teams fair. Special considerations, such as car pooling, should be noted on the registration form. Please note that every effort will be made to address those issues, but no guarantee can be made that your child will be on the team of their/your choice.
Equipment:
Gloves and Helmets - Each player will need to supply their own glove and helmet.
Bats - We have bats; but, you are welcome to bring your own as long as they meet standard Little League and ASA softball guidelines (no big barrel bats).
Uniforms – We supply a hat, jersey and socks. You will need to supply pants and a belt, or shorts. Your coach will make that decision.
Code of Conduct:
Everyone who participates in St. Michael Parish sports must abide by the Code of Conduct (see the link above). By clicking the registration "Submit" button you are agreeing to comply with the terms of the Code.

Eligibility:
The St. Michael baseball and softball program is open to all students and parishioners of St. Michael parish. We welcome children from outside our school and parish to participate subject to the following conditions:
